In addition to several cover enhancements effective immediately, we have taken the opportunity to make the policy work better for you in the practical circumstances which can arise whilst having works carried out:
Cover now automatically extends 14 days beyond the policy end date – this gives the client time to source regular household cover or the contractor a little extra time to complete final snagging without needing to request a formal extension.
Where works are temporarily paused with the intention to resume, cover is maintained for up to 60 days without having to revert to a standard household or unoccupied homes policy.
